Tanah Runtuh (2026)

Amidst the riots in Poso, Kai and his older brother, Ringgo, who has Down Syndrome, are separated from their mother, Emmy. While searching for their mother, they encounter a police officer named Idham, who is on duty handling the riots. Idham helps search for Emmy, while taking Kai and Ringgo along on his journey through dangerous situations. An emotional bond like family begins to emerge between Idham, Kai, and Ringgo.

During the religious unrest in Tanah Runtuh Village, Poso, Central Sulawesi, Kai and his older brother Ringgo, a child with Down Syndrome, are separated from their mother, Emmy. Kai is determined to find his mother amidst the ongoing unrest. Meanwhile, a police officer named Idham is assigned to Tanah Runtuh to resolve the problem there. Idham then gathers his men and they search for suspects involved in the unrest. On the way, Kai and Ringgo meet Idham, who promises to help find their mother. They visit several refugee camps, but still don't see Emmy, Kai and Ringgo's mother. Idham is forced to take the two children with him on his mission because he can't leave them. Kai and Ringgo end up getting dragged into Idham's journey, who encounters several rioters along the way. Finally, Kai and Ringgo meet Emmy. They embrace happily. At the same time, Idham must leave Poso and return to Jakarta because he has an assignment there. The separation was heartbreaking, because Idham, Kai, and Ringgo had unknowingly considered Idham their father. Likewise, Idham had considered Kai and Ringgo his sons.
